What Am I Currently Working On

Hey Folks,

I just wanted to touch basis with you for a bit here to let you know what I currently have going on.

My big project is one of a entirely new site where I will be covering how to go from literally not knowing nothing about how to sell your products and services to having a full understanding of what works and what doesn’t.

The primary focus will be on how your mind works and why some people buy and some don’t.

I don’t need to tell you that this is vital knowledge.

Just knowing how to present you offers, whether it be online or offline to your market will lead to big improvements in your business. Or not. It will basically depend on how you use the information that I will be giving you. Because to be honest with you, some people say they want success but aren’t willing to do what it takes to be successful.

But hey, that’s how it goes right…

So anyhow…

Make sure you stay tuned so that you won’t be left out of the loop.

“The Definition of An Entrepreneur: Truth, Lies and Fairy Tales

I came across a nice little video that explores the question, what exactly is an entrepreneur. It’s a short piece, but none the less, it gives you a snapshot of the various thoughts about being an entrepreneur.

Take a few minutes to watch the check it out.

I’m interested in seeing what are your thoughts on the topic.

What is your definition of an entrepreneur? Does your definition fit any of the definitions that you saw in the video?

I’d like to know, leave me a comment below.

“2 Idea Hangouts Where You Can Quickly Find New Breakthrough Ideas to Write About”

Sometimes when I’m getting ready to sit down at my computer and do a little writing, my mind kind of goes awol on me. The idea that I had before I sat down just ups and leaves me.

Then I’m sitting there staring at a blank screen with a blinking cursor.

When that would happen it would piss me off big time.

So one day when I sat down to start writing I said that I wouldn’t wind up staring at a blank screen if my idea left me. And like clock work, when I hit the seat cushion, out went my idea.

But this time I had an answer.

When my idea left, I decided to visit a site that I’ve been visiting for years. It was out of frustration that I made the visit, but what happened once I put two and two together lead me to a new breakthrough.

The site I went to was called springwise.com

As I said, I had visited this site many times before in the past, I just never did so when I was at a loss for ideas. Well, this time upon my visit my mind began to go haywire after seeing what other people were coming up with. The site captures ideas from around the world that are innovative and inspirational.

However I do have a warning for you though

Spingwise.com as great as it is, isn’t for everyone. If you’re looking for topics to write about for your blog, then this might not be the site for you. On the other hand, if you’re the type of person who’s always on the lookout for ways to add new products or services to you business that could lead to an increase in your income, then this site could be your diamond in the rough.

So what happens if you are just looking for new ideas you can write about for your blog?

No need to worry if that is you. The folks at springwise.com have a sister site. And that site is called trendwatching.com.

This is the site whereby you can get a ton of ideas to write about on your blog if you can’t seem to get going. What this site will do for you is it will give you a chance to be seen as a thought leader in your industry.

And just in case you were wondering how that can happen, it’s kind of easy to see why once you visit the site. What these guy’s and gals do over at the site is they follow and give you the heads up on new trends. Each month they give you a briefing on what will soon become hot. When you start writing about these trends ahead of time, your market will be thanking you for the heads up.

But here’s the real kicker…

Show your market how they can capitalize off of these trends and you will be definitely be seen in their eyes as a rockstar.

How about we wrap things up here.

When you’re at a loss for new breakthrough ideas, you can visit springwise.com and trendwatching.com. These are sister sites that are loaded with jump off ideas to get your juices flowing. You can either use the ideas to spot and write about trends for your market or you can introduce new product ideas into new markets. Either way, you’ll be seen as a winner by your market.

How and Where To Make Money In 2013 and Beyond

The title of this article comes from an article I recently red in inc.com’s magazine. Basically what the article was talking about were the different areas that you need to look at if you want to increase your income for the coming year.

In particular, what I liked most about the article was what it had to say about social media.

Social Media Outposts

What’s the deal with social media anyway?

For the past couple of years I’ve been screaming to anyone who would listen that facebook had other devious ideas about your data that you were handing over for free in the form of updates. There is no way that they could stay in business and grow if they don’t in some way try to monetize all of that information that they have compiled on you.

Some of you who keep up with facebook might already know that they have reached over a billion users. That’s quite an accomplishment.

However, their accomplishment can become your gain, if you know how to leverage it to your advantage.

See, with reaching that one billion member mark, they have opened up new potential markets that bode well for you. Their sheer size combined with the awakening of consumers to the fact that their data and privacy actually matter. This awakening will lead to more and more people starting to use smaller companies that put more emphasis on privacy concerns as a way to offset their use of twitter and facebook.

What this means for you?

This means that for you to benefit from this new customer awakening, you can create little networks that are more tightly connected, and allow you and the members to have more control. These little communities that you create can be the a great place to build your tribes. (if you don’t know about how to do that, then make sure you stay tuned as I will be having more info on that as well)

To sum things up here.

Social media will still be here for you to use. However, there is change upon the horizon. Having smaller networks that emphasize more control and privacy will become legitimate alternatives to monster sized companies like facebook and twitter. You can leverage this movement by setting up your own more well connected and smaller leveraged networks.
